Integration in Street Football League

The Second Round of the U12 was dominated by the theme of integration! Queen Lions, the U12 girls' team from JKUAT Academy could however not meet their opponents, as the opponents didn't show up for the match. So, for the first time, the tournament pitted a girls' team against a boys team! To make this happen, a team of U10 boys from Gachororo Primary School was selected and fielded against Queen Lions U12 girls team from JKUAT. The girls played their best, though they were no match for the U10 boys from Gachororo. Though the boys scored more in the game, the points for fair play and respect went to the Queen Lions for the dignity they showed during the match. There were also a match that featured 3 girls from the U 10 Red Rangers team from, Thiririka Primary School, who had been included in a boys team. The girls displayed great talent, respect for others, and integrated well with the boys team.
