NGUVU Edu SPORT’s 10th Partnership: Karamaini Primary School

On Friday 16th of October 2015, NGUVU Edu SPORT paid a visit to Karamaini Primary School, situated in a remote area off the Juja/Thika highway. We were pleasantly surprised to find pupils already in school before 7am, eager to learn. There were teachers too within the compound, ready to assist the pupils with learning challenges.

As assembly time drew nearer, there were beautiful matches by Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, rehearsing for the flag raising ceremony. During the assembly, there was evidence of a new crop of leadership, as senior students and elected leaders (Governors and MPs) took charge to ensure orderliness during the assembly time. Prayers were led by a senior student, who has already focused on becoming a Bishop when he grows up.

Generally, the entire experience was really exciting for us. And as the saying goes here in Africa, “A visitor is a blessing” we will be blessing the school with cooperation in uplifting the quality of learning, as well as sports, in line with NGUVU Edu SPORT’s mission and vision.

Thus, we are glad to welcome Karamaini Primary School as our 10th partner school within Juja. We look forward to great times ahead, working together with the school’s administration, headed by Mr. Wainaina (Head Teacher), and his team of staff, and pupils.
